Billing

Fees are billed at the beginning of each session or may be paid in advance of multiple session with cash or a check made out to Heather Sund Counseling.

Insurance

I am a Preferred Provider for Premera, Lifewise and other Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance plans. Many insurance policies in Washington State will cover mental health services but not all. I also participate with companies as an "out of network provider" and can provide you with a receipt for you to be able to pursue reimbursement. The amount you are reimbursed will vary depending on your personal insurance plan, though I do not guarantee reimbursement from any given company and only directly bill insurance companies for which I am a provider. If you would like to use your insurance benefits to pay for sessions, please contact your insurance company to inquire about mental health benefits in advance.

• Do I have mental health benefits?
• Is Heather Sund a preferred or in-network provider?
• If not, do I have coverage for out of network providers?
• Is there an annual limit?
